Blackwell Engineering is a Company based on integrity, values and faith. Although it is still a smaller Company, Blackwell Engineering has grown significantly since its conception in 1988 by Richard (Dick) Blackwell, Jr. Dick Blackwell was joined in ownership by his sons, Ed Blackwell in the late 1980’s and Rick Blackwell in the early 1990’s.
Blackwell Engineering used its family unity and Christian values to help dedicate the Company to providing quality engineering and personal service to its clients. The firm has concentrated on land planning, site design, drainage and erosion control design, subdivisions, water and sewage facilities, and alternative septic systems. The use of the latest technology in computer design and the printing of drawings in color add a certain level of professionalism, attention and detail to each project. Blackwell Engineering specializes in incorporating its clients in the design process as it is being done. This ensures greater client satisfaction and a more timely completion of the projects.
Each project is handled by a Professional Engineer; in addition, Principals have a working knowledge of all current jobs so that the client receives the combined skills and design availability of the entire firm.
